The Howard Phillips Center for Children and Families, part of Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, serves many of the most vulnerable families in Central Florida. The Howard Phillips Center provides services including counseling, advocacy, early childhood intervention, medical care and home visits at no cost to local participating families. To provide these services, the Center relies heavily on the community’s financial support.

The initiative to expand and renovate our Emergency Department as well as the Level One Trauma Center was identified following the June 12, 2016, Pulse tragedy. Thanks to generous donations from the community, Orlando Health Foundation has been able to provide not only our patients, but also our team members, with a top-of-the-line piece of technology to improve imaging and efficiency within the Emergency Department, ultimately leading to faster imaging, diagnoses and improved care.
The Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and Cellular Therapy team includes oncologists, advanced practice providers, pathologists, radiologists, nurses, therapists, researchers, child life specialists and counselors who work together to help patients and families fight the destruction caused by cancer and blood disorders.

This year, in recognition of National Doctors’ Day, we saw an outpouring of support from our community. Our physicians work hard to provide the best possible care for our patients. We know your recognition of that effort - through your donations and personal notes - gives them joy as they continue to serve such a fantastic community.
In December of 2020, Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children opened the first and only Seacrest Studio in the state of Florida. Brought to the hospital by the Ryan Seacrest Foundation in partnership with the Orlando Health Foundation, the studio has been a marvelous addition to the Child Life Program at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer.
For the last 20 years, Central Florida has been home to Roy and Dee Haley, catalysts for several major initiatives at Orlando Health.
Currently, our Patient Navigator in the Emergency Department at Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC) does their best to connect patients to community resources and employment opportunities. Now, through this new partnership with CareerSource Florida, our OUD Navigator will be able to directly connect these patients to employment resources in Central Florida.
Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children has recently welcomed our first Facility Dog named Parks! Brought to you by the Orlando Health Foundation, in partnership with Petsmart Charities, Orlando Health Arnold Palmer received Parks at no cost from Canine Companions®.
