Supporting Central Florida Families

In 2022, the Isermann Family Foundation provided a $10,000 grant to support The Healing Tree and Healthy Families programs at The Howard Phillips Center for Children and Families, part of Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

This year, the Isermann Family Foundation has committed to supporting families in our community by providing a grant of $10,000 to support The Healing Tree.

The Healing Tree and Healthy Families programs at The Howard Phillips Center are two of the six programs the Center provides and serve many of the most vulnerable children and their families in Central Florida with a variety of life- changing services.

The Healing Tree provides evidence-based counseling services in the form of individual, group and family therapy for children who have been victims of abuse and their caregivers. For over 40 years, this leading treatment facility has assisted in strengthening the family unit and supporting long-term recovery, helping to break the inter- generational cycle of abuse.

Healthy Families is an evidence-based model for the promotion of child well-being and prevention of abuse. This home-visitation program offers education, referrals and resources to new parents in Orange and Osceola counties to help build healthy, positive parenting skills. From pregnancy until the child is five years old, Healthy Families staff members facilitate parent-infant bonding, positive parent-child interaction, child health and development. In 2022, grant funding from the Isermann Family Foundation helped to support this program in providing client support to 65 families in Central Florida.

The Howard Phillips Center relies heavily on philanthropic support to provide these needed services at no-cost to families. The Orlando Health Foundation is grateful for the support the Isermann Family Foundation has provided and the impact they have already made on children and families in our community.
