Decade of Compassion and Commitment

The Riveras Fingerprints Touch Clients and Staff at The Howard Phillips Center for Children and Families

In the heart of Orlando, an example of philanthropy and dedication exists, embodied by the remarkable couple, Joe and Michele Rivera, and their unwavering support of The Howard Phillips Center for Children and Families, part of Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

The Howard Phillips Center is more than six vitally important programs to the Riveras; it’s a mission profoundly meaningful to their hearts. Their journey began over ten years ago when they were introduced to the center’s mission of hope, healing and compassion – providing support for teens in need of medical care and families working to break the cycle of child abuse. Joe and Michele’s generosity has enabled The Howard Phillips Center to expand its reach and enhance its programs, providing a lifeline for those navigating the most challenging circumstances.

The Riveras, never the ones to step into the spotlight, instantly became an integral part of The Howard Phillips Center family. Their commitment extends beyond financial contributions, as they actively engage with the organization’s initiatives and the dedicated professionals who work tirelessly on the frontlines.

It’s not uncommon to find Joe and Michele gathering donated supplies, attending events, volunteering their time, rallying their friends and extended family or simply sharing words of encouragement with the center’s team. Their infectious enthusiasm creates a positive ripple effect, fostering a sense of unity and purpose among everyone associated with The Howard Phillips Center.
