The doctors of Emergency Physicians of Central Florida provide urgent medical treatment throughout Orlando Health’s hospitals and free-standing emergency departments. Since the mid-1980s, our two organizations have collaborated to treat emergent patients with the highest-level of care.
Since 1983, Orlando Health has been providing exceptional and compassionate cancer care in Central Florida, focusing on patients identified as high risk for breast and other cancers by personal history, family history or genetic testing.
At Orlando Health, caregivers do more than just provide treatment. They also offer hope and encouragement that can be instrumental to the healing process. Whether it be a clinical or non-clinical team member – an empathetic smile, a friendly voice or a motivating demeanor can improve a patient’s day for the better.
Adam and Geri Goldstein, along with Dominic “Dom” and Linda Nori, hosted a fundraising dinner this past April in support of Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. The event aimed to raise funds to provide comprehensive care to babies and children facing complex medical challenges.
For the past 15 years, Betty and Vic Gilbert have been the caretakers of one of the most beloved spots inside Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

Neeraj Desai, MD, and Avani M. Desai have been active donors, volunteers and advocates of Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies for nearly a decade. Since 2012, Dr. Desai has been a part of Orlando Health Winnie Palmer’s Maternal-Fetal Medicine division, working closely with community obstetricians to deliver the highest quality care to women during their pregnancy. Avani is a leader in her field, serving as the President of Tampa-based Schellman & Company, LLC – in 2018, she was the only minority head of a “Top 100” CPA firm, and one of only a handful of female leaders.
