Legacy-Making in Lake Mary

The doctors of Emergency Physicians of Central Florida provide urgent medical treatment throughout Orlando Health’s hospitals and free-standing emergency departments. Since the mid-1980s, our two organizations have collaborated to treat emergent patients with the highest-level of care.

This deep collaboration, with physicians from the practice serving in multiple hospital leadership roles throughout the years, has led to a partnership which ultimately increases quality and efficiency, benefitting patients in our community. The leaders of Emergency Physicians of Central Florida have contributed to the growth of our healthcare organization through philanthropic support - now exceeding $1.6 million - for more than 30 years. Their philanthropic gifts have touched emergency and/or trauma care at Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC), Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips Hospital and Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

Graphic Call out: This year, Emergency Physicians of Central Florida have committed their support to Orlando Health Lake Mary Hospital, set to open in Fall 2024.

The gift to Orlando Health Lake Mary Hospital will provide much-needed funds that will impact emergency care and healing capabilities for Central Florida residents in the years to come. Through innovative equipment, ground-breaking technology and novel therapies for emergency medicine, philanthropy allows physicians and caregivers to offer the best treatment available in our region.
