Publix Continues Building Upon Legacy of Caring

Publix is known for its caring culture and has a long-standing tradition of being a company the community can count on.

This legacy began with its founder, George Jenkins, in 1930 and continues to live on through the care and compassion of the many associates that work for the company and still represent the heart of it today.

During their annual Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals campaign from May 24 – June 4, Publix associates took to heart the words of Arnold Palmer: “Good will never be good enough for our children.” They came together alongside their generous customers to create lasting change — raising more than $512,000 to support pediatric programs and services — and help us continue to meet the growing needs of our community best.

The warmth and excitement seen and felt during their campaign was truly special. As we celebrate another life-changing year of partnership with Publix, we extend our deepest gratitude to the many Publix associates and customers for their heartfelt support and thank them for the positive impact they continue to have on our hospital and families in our community.
