"Rays Up" for Clinical Excellence

The Tampa Bay Rays concluded their 2023 season on a high note, demonstrating their unwavering commitment to the St. Petersburg community.

In the last three seasons, the Rays have donated more than $41,000 to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital, a testament to their dedication to making a positive impact locally. The Rays’ donation of $250 for every stolen base was a heartfelt tribute to the healthcare professionals who tirelessly serve the region.

The funds from the Rays’ stolen bases initiative will support continued education opportunities for clinical and non-clinical team members.

In addition, some team member and patient areas within the hospital and free-standing emergency departments were proudly wrapped with team touches, a reminder to staff and patients that not only the Tampa Bay Rays but the community supports the healing taking place within the hospital walls.
