May is National Trauma Awareness Month

This May, the United States is celebrating the 30th annual National Trauma Awareness Month.

Trauma awareness is a cause near and dear to Orlando Health as Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center has the only Level One Trauma Center in Central Florida. This year’s theme – Injury Is No Accident – signifies how awareness and prevention can help to minimize the amount of traumatic injuries faced by American’s every day.

We invite you to join us in celebration by making a donation to help expand the Trauma Center. This redesign will make the space more functional by changing the layout and adjusting the use of this area, and will also help to increase the quality of care we provide to our patients.

You can make a donation using our secure, online donation form at Give.OrlandoHealth.com/TraumaAwareness or by calling the Orlando Health Foundation at 321.841.5194.

If you would like to learn more about how you can further the life-saving mission of Central Florida’s only Level One Trauma Center at ORMC, please contact Thomas Bolick, Director, Orlando Health Foundation at [email protected] or 321-841-5194.
