Hope Lights the Way

Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children is honored to receive a $100,000 Hyundai Hope On Wheels Impact Award Grant to support clinical trials for pediatric cancer.

Each year, the Haley Center for Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer sees approximately 140 new oncology patients, has 130 kids on active treatment and manages the care of over 1,800 children. Support from partners like Hyundai Hope On Wheels allows the Haley Center team to offer leading edge research and clinical trials to our patients.

“’Hope Lights the Way,’ the theme of this year’s initiative, reminds us to remain steadfast in our commitment to funding research and programs to fight this disease. We are hopeful for a future free from childhood cancer,” remarked Michael DePaul, General Manager for the Southern Region at Hyundai Motor America.
