The Orlando Health Foundation is launching a new program, which gives you, our patients and families, a unique way of recognizing a team member in honor of the care you have received. Through Honor a Caregiver, patients and family members have the opportunity to make a charitable gift to Orlando Health and write a note of gratitude to your caregiver.

When a gift is made, a Foundation representative will visit the team member’s unit to celebrate the individual, share the patient’s comments, and present the team member with a special “Honor a Caregiver” pin. Team members recognized as part of the Honor a Caregiver program will also be included in a drawing for prizes.

Patients and family members can make a charitable gift in honor of a physician, nurse, environmental services worker, rehabilitation specialist, imaging technician or anyone else who helped you on your journey inside the hospital.

Your generosity not only recognizes those who provided excellent care, it also allows us to continue providing life-saving and compassionate care for thousands of other patients. This is a wonderful way to touch the lives of other patients at Orlando Health.
