Homes Away From Home

Orlando Health's hospitality homes — Hubbard House and the Cynthia C. & William E. Perry Pavilion — offer support and comfort to families while loved ones receive extended treatment at our facilities.

“Without the Hubbard House our family would not have been able to be with our loved one, which I believe helped in his fast recovery. I can’t say enough for the care, help and service we all enjoyed while staying there.”

Patients find comfort in the care of the doctors and nurses at Orlando Health. Families supporting patients receiving care receive comfort as well at our hospitality homes.

For more than 6,000 people each year, the Hubbard House and the Cynthia C. & William E. Perry Pavilion serve as much-needed homes away from home. Our hospitality homes provide our patients’ families with a place to stay near the hospitals while receiving long-term treatment and care.

Hubbard House, located near Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC), hosts an average of 50 people each night and the Perry Pavilion at Dr. P. Phillips Hospital welcomes an average of 10 people each night.

These homes away from home provide a sense of comfort and a place to rest during stressful times. Guests often leave comments in the hospitality homes’ guest books. See below the impact our hospitality homes have in these families’ lives.

“What a wonderful surprise to find the Perry Pavilion. So quiet and comfortable. Everyone I’ve come across both in the Pavilion and the hospital has a beautiful smile and is so pleasant as if you have known them for years. My brother has been in ICU for two weeks and it was good to know that I could visit him by walking indoors to his room. It feels like a special place, so calming and peaceful. Many thanks to all who are responsible for maintaining such a lovely place.”
