Helpful Hearts at Panera Bread
Central Florida Panera Bread® locations donated over $35,000 to The Heart Center at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children through their annual Heart Cookie campaign. Each year, our partners at Panera Bread create their signature Heart Cookie for Valentine's Day. The taste of these deliciously crafted, shortbread cookies shaped into hearts is made extra sweet knowing each cookie purchased
supports young heart patients. From February 1–14, Central Florida Panera Bread locations donated 100 percent of the proceeds from the sale of Heart Cookies. We thank Panera Bread for all their efforts to support our hospital, and cardiac patients like Alessandra.
Alessandra was diagnosed with a critical heart condition before she was born and, at just seven days old, underwent heart surgery. Today, Alessandra is a thriving 8-year-old who loves to play basketball. Her family praises their care team at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer for the hope and comfort they received during the most challenging time of their lives.
