Family Foundations Support Advancements at the Orlando Health Cancer Institute

The Chesley G. Magruder Foundation

Born to a true Florida pioneer family, Chesley G. Magruder was a lifetime resident of Orlando. He gave his time and resources generously to many causes that supported the youth in the community and those physically less fortunate. As a lasting expression of his devotion to his Central Florida community, Mr. Magruder established The Chesley G. Magruder Foundation, Inc. in 1979.

Since 1982, The Chesley G. Magruder Foundation has supported the mission of Orlando Health through financial support of Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, The Howard Phillips Center for Children and Families, Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center and many other areas.

The Foundation’s latest gift to Orlando Health Cancer Institute of $250,000 will help make the state-of-the-art Cellular Therapy Program possible, as well as aid in the expansion of the Bone Marrow Transplant unit. This philanthropic support enables Orlando Health to be at the forefront of ground-breaking research.
