Torch Relay for CMN Hospitals: 2020 Coast to Coast Challenge: November 12–November 15

For the past 18 years, The Torch Relay for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has consisted of multiple events around the nation where participants walked or ran a segment of the Torch Relay in their city fundraising for their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

This year due to the impact of COVID-19, The Torch Relay for CMN Hospitals is hosting a fun-revised virtual format called the 2020 Coast to Coast Challenge. This multi-day experience allows participants to walk, run, or bike and will begin on Thursday, November 12th and continue through the evening of Sunday, November 15th. The opening ceremony will be broadcast live from Orlando, FL and will feature a DJ, an official torch lighting and some special surprises. There will also be live feeds hosted throughout the 4-day event featuring hospitals and participants across the country!

So how does it work? Participants will register online and pledge a specific number of miles they will walk, run or bike during the Torch Relay weekend. As participants update the miles they’ve completed on their personal webpage, miles will be cumulatively tracked on the main event webpage to reflect the total event miles completed by participants across the country throughout the weekend. It’ll be incredible to see so many caring individuals coming together for one cause-To Change Kids’ Health and Change the Future!
