Each year, roughly 40 teams compete in the Saltwater Classic Fishing Tournament, raising funds for brain tumor research at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. Since 2011, the event has raised more than $122,000.
Established in 2010, The Florida Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation is a family-driven foundation dedicated to raising awareness of and increasing research funding for pediatric brain tumors. The Foundation’s mission is to raise money to fund specific research programs to help improve treatment options for these brave children, and to one day find a cure.
