Making Miracles Happen: How the REMAX Miracle Home Program Transformed One Agent’s Perspective
For years, REMAX agents have supported Children's Miracle Network® through the Miracle Home Program, donating a portion of each commission to help children receive the best care possible. For Christine Bowen, a REMAX Town & Country Realty agent, that mission eventually became deeply personal.
Christine joined REMAX in 2016 knowing little about Children's Miracle Network beyond what a friend at Orlando Health Children's Arnold Palmer Hospital had shared with her. Inspired by the impact CMN partners like REMAX have on local families, she began making a donation with every closed transaction as a meaningful way to give back to her community.
In October 2023, Christine's perspective changed forever when her son, Chris, suffered a severe concussion following a basketball prank gone wrong. Suddenly, the hospital she had supported for years became the place her own family turned during an incredibly frightening experience.
As she walked through Orlando Health Children's Arnold Palmer Hospital, Christine noticed a Children's Miracle Network mural that immediately brought a sense of comfort and familiarity. Throughout Chris' care, multiple specialists took time to thoroughly evaluate his condition, answer questions and ensure both Chris and his family felt supported every step of the way.
