Since first opening our doors on November 5, 1918, as Orange General Hospital, Orlando Health has continued to grow and advance together with the Central Florida community that we are proud to be a part of.

From that single, 50-bed hospital built in an orange grove and lit by candlelight, Orlando Health has provided a century of healing, compassion and caring while evolving into a comprehensive regional healthcare system.

Today, Orlando Health’s extensive network of connected care serves residents throughout all of Central Florida with state-of-the-art facilities and innovative services spanning the region.

Now, as we celebrate our centennial anniversary, we are honored to look to our rich and storied past as we begin the next 100 years — Inspiring a New Century.
