A scoop of ice cream became so much more than a sweet treat this February, as Kelly's Homemade Ice Cream and Central Florida First Watch restaurants joined forces to raise funds for young cancer patients.

With a strong desire to give back to their community, these two beloved Central Florida brands teamed up to celebrate Eat Ice Cream for Breakfast, raising $20,000 to support the Haley Center for Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

The campaign centered on a limited-edition flavor both brands created together: Strawberry Tres Leches French Toast, inspired by a current First Watch menu item and transformed into an exclusive scoop by Kelly's.

Throughout February, team members at Kelly’s Scoop Shops encouraged customers to donate at the register, and celebrate International Eat Ice Cream for Breakfast Day on February 18, when 50% of sales were donated to the hospital. At First Watch, $0.25 from every Kid’s Meal and 100% of proceeds from each scoop of the signature flavor supported patients.

Thank You!

Thanks to the generosity of Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream, First Watch and their customers, funds from this campaign will help provide cutting-edge treatments and advanced technology to improve cancer care for young patients.
