Other Initiatives
Level One Trauma Center
Originally built over 25 years ago, the trauma bay in the Level One Trauma Center at Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC) was designed to treat 1,000 patients a year. Today, that number has increased to over 6,000 trauma patients annually. Expanding the size of Central Florida’s only Level One Trauma Center is absolutely critical to ensure that we are able to keep pace with the growing needs of our community, while providing the highest level of medical excellence for our patients and families when tragedy strikes.
