Sarah's Sporting Clays Against Cancer Raises $40,000
In its third year, Sarah's Sporting Clays Against Cancer event raised more than $40,000 for the Sara Szafranski Endowment Fund, supporting the Pediatric Brain Tumor Program at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.
In 2002, Sarah Szafranski passed away from leukemia and made her father, Bob Szafranski, promise to continue to fund the endowment she set up with the goal of reaching $1 million. Sarah’s Sporting Clays Against Cancer event was created and has successfully raised funds to support the Sarah Szafrankski Endowment Fund for the past three years. On October 14, attendees enjoyed a day on the Tenoroc Shooting and Training Range filled with friendly competition, contests, prizes and awards. In its third year, Sarah’s Sporting Clays Against Cancer has raised more than $40,000. We are grateful to have the Sarah Szafranski Endowment Fund continue to support the Pediatric Brain Tumor Program at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies.
