Orlando Health Nursing Alumni Reunite

The Orlando Health Foundation recently hosted a special reunion luncheon for graduates of the former nursing school at Orlando Regional Medical Center (then named Orange Memorial Hospital). Nearly 100 current and retired nurses traveled from across the globe to represent the nursing school which operated between 1921 and 1973.

Guest of honor, Frances Reinsch the class of 1938, recently celebrated her one hundredth birthday and was part of the earliest graduating class in attendance.

As graduates of our former nursing school, they are an extension of our family and an important part of our history. Their dedication, training and service laid the groundwork for the excellence in nursing that Orlando Health is known for today.
