FLCMAA Sunshine Region Charity Golf Tournament
The impact of kidney disease on the life of a child can be devastating. Last year, more than 300 children were treated at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children for this disease, with 80 percent of the children admitted to our neonatal and pediatric critical care units suffering from some form of renal dysfunction.
The Hewell Kids’ Kidney Center provides lifesaving treatment to kids with chronic kidney disease by bringing together registered nurses, dialysis technicians, social workers and Child Life specialists in a family-centered environment.
