Driving Change: Marriott's Play Yellow Tournament

Marriott’s Central Florida Business Council recently hosted their fourth annual Play Yellow golf tournament at Hawk’s Landing Golf Club. An impressive turnout of participants comprised of Marriott leaders and its valued business partners from across Central Florida, generously dedicated their time and resources to play in support of Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

We were honored to have Mark Gaber, Chief Operations Officer, East Region, and Elaine Richard, Regional Vice President, join us to celebrate the day and speak to Marriott’s longstanding commitment to enhancing pediatric healthcare. The event had a record-breaking year, raising more than $114,000 to support the Orlando Health Children’s Pavilion.

The most inspiring moments of the tournament came with the presence of several miracle kids, Owen, Lauren and JP, whose participation was a powerful reminder of the impact this event has on families. They helped welcome golfers and spent time out on the course with their families sharing hand-painted golf balls as a thank you to participants.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Marriott, its business partners and everyone who contributed to making the day both memorable and meaningful. It was more than a day on the course – every swing, every putt and every contribution helped create a lasting impact for children across Central Florida.
