Community Partners- Making a difference for local kids: Southeast Produce Council

Southeast Produce Council (SEPC) began with a vision to become the premier produce resource in the Southeast. Today, SEPC has carried out their vision standing over 3,000 members strong from over 25 states, Canada and Mexico.

For over seven years, Orlando Health has been fortunate to have SEPC’s support and are deeply grateful for their continued contribution to our mission. Not only have their members volunteered time and provided in-kind donations, SEPC has generously donated over $270,000.

These funds have supported:

• Patients and families at the Haley Center for Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.
• Our Healthy Lifestyles Program, which is focused on helping youth achieve their health and wellness goals.
• Aided the expansion of our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies, allowing us to continue to care for premature newborns and the complex medical conditions they often face.

David Sherrod, President of Southeast Produce Council, shares, “Our organization supports the health and wellness of those living in the communities we serve. We are proud to support the hospital’s efforts to build a healthier future for children.“
